The war flag is the Kuwait national flag with the Army emblem
centered over the intersection of the black, green and white stripe.
Ivan Sache, 27 August 2002
A wreath surmounted by an eagle with spread wings, encircling a
tank over two cannons crossed in saltire over two horizontal wings.
All the elements are yellow, the inner fields of the emblem are
white. There is Arabic writing in the upper and lower quarter of the
saltire, saying al-Jaish al Kuwaiti (The Army of Kuwait).

An email from Nov. 18, 2021 Foreign Policy's "Situation Report" includes this
red flag with text.
Caption: Unidentified red-field flag with
white-slogan carried on Kuwaiti "Land Force" army tank in a military exercise
with Saudi & U.S. militaries, north of Kuwait City, c. Nov. 18, 2021. Could be
unit-commander's flag (tells both friendly and enemy forces where the head
honcho is) or might be some religious flag encouraging tankers into battle.
